So, during my winter holiday I was able to visit a certain someone’s family… Yes. Meet the Parents. It wasn’t bad. They were (thankfully) really nice to me. Anyway, we also had the opportunity to go to White Sands National Park in New Mexico… here are my faves:

I’m down in good ‘ole N’awlins with the fam getting ready to go on a cruise! Last night we walked around the French Quarter and Jackson Square, had supper at Emeril’s NOLA restaurant (so fabulous). We started it off with duck pizza! Then had salad MahiMahi, and french vanillla creme brulee. Now we’re heading over to Cafe Du Monde, then boarding the ship. I’ll post pics later!

A few weeks ago, I received an email from Kimberly, a bride whose wedding I shot a few years ago, asking if there was any chance I still had a copy of her wedding pics… they had had a house fire and lost EVERYTHING. I lost my breath when she told me. I cannot even imagine. My heart goes out to her and Marc so deeply.
Anyway, fortunately I do still have the pics, and I did really enjoy revisiting their wedding…
Kim & Marc, you guys are in my thoughts and prayers as you rebuild your house and home…
i feel all techie! i’m totally not. wordpress just tricked me into feeling like this with their user-friendly blogging dashboard. (at least i know!) anyway, i’m STOKED because i just figured out how to add an RSS feed!!! yeay! that means that instead of checking out my blog everyday (you know who you are) the RSS feed will tell you when I’ve updated! AWESOME. So, if you do not have an RSS feeder, you can get one from google.com/reader, bloglines.com, or newsgator.com and rejoice because of your new little trick!
p.s. yes i am aware that some of you have known how to use RSS for what years… that just means you are so much cooler than i am.
